ABOUT BURU DE HOYOS

 

Buru De Hoyos is a Mexican-immigrant mixed media artist who focuses on the female experience and day-to-day struggles women endure. She demonstrates these issues through painting, printmaking, comics, and a variety of other mediums outside of pictorial. She has been active in various art communities around the bay area and aspired to be a part of the local community in San Diego and Tijuana in the future.

She is currently working towards a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a concentration on pictorial arts in San Jose State.
